3A molecular sieves are used in the form of spherical and cylindrical granules in the sizes of 12 x 8, 8 x 4 mesh, as well as 1/4 and 1/8 1/16 inches in the dehydration process of gas and liquid streams. The size of the holes in these sieves is 3 angstroms and they trap impure molecules with a molecular size of less than 3 angstroms.
