Support appropriate labor standards

Behdash Chemical Company makes every effort to be reliable as a company and one of the members of the society and fulfill its responsibilities towards the society, public institutions, NGOs and environmental protection in a good way. Respecting the prevailing values in every society in which it operates, this company assures all customers, suppliers and community members that in this company:

All people who are involved in the supply, production and distribution of the company’s products in any way are treated with respect and their human rights and dignity are fully respected by the company.

Behdash Chemical Company is committed to complying with all the requirements of the Ethical Trading Initiatives Base Code and the set of ethical rules.
Also, the company is committed to complying with the legal requirements of the countries in which it operates as well as the requirements of the conventions of the International Labor Organization.

The business ethics requirements based on ETI, which the company commits itself to, are as follows:

1- There is no forced labor in the company.

2- Freedom of personnel participation in elections and freedom of collective agreements are respected.

3- Safe working conditions and employees’ health are observed.

4- Children and people under legal age (18 years) will not be used in the company.

5- Adequacy of salaries and wages, according to the laws approved by the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Security, based on customs and regional conditions.

6- Working hours are not excessive.

7- In defining the conditions of recruitment, employment, promotion, work allocation, access to training, and termination of employment, it is done without discrimination and based on regulations.

8- In all labor contracts, employment conditions and working relationships are clear and all contracts cover the requirements of the labor law.

9- The existence of any kind of threat or behavior contrary to human dignity is not accepted in any way.

The scope of the above obligations includes all the people described below:

Employees who are directly employed by the company under employment contracts.

Employees working or provided by contractors or power supply organizations at the company’s location or the location designated by the company, who are engaged in doing work for or on behalf of the company.
