1.      Cerma

  • Chemical Name: Sodium Silico Carbonate
  • Applications and Properties:

Cerma is from family of sodium silicate and is an excellent dispersant and deflocculant for natural earth. This product is as effective stabilizer for ceramic production units in the preparation of clay slips for casting. Also it can be substituted for all of lubricants from quality and economic aspects.

Cerma is an alkaline product produced as white, free-flowing granules. The products is characterized by:

  • High solubility and dissolution rate, also in cold water
  • Negligible insoluble residue
  • High mechanical strength
  • High buffering capacity
  • Low dust content
  • Available as medium sized granules

2.      Behdasequest

  • Chemical Name: Co-granule
  • Applications and Properties:

This product with less dust is a competitor for zeolite and STPP, because of less dust. It is a combination of sodium silicate and sodium carbonate. By varying of this ratio it can prevent aggregation of pus and effects of pollution on the fabric. Production formula of this material has been discovered at research laboratory of Mahd-e-Taban Investment Co. According to invent no. (28348) from Companies Registration Office and Tehran Industry Ownership, it is registered as a replacement for Sodium TriPolyPhosphate in powder production formula and now the authority of using this material in powder detergents has been taken from Standard and Industrial Research Office.

3.      Behdaset STS

  • Applications and Properties:

Sodium toluene sulfonate is a toluene sulfonate ester used in organic chemical reactions as an alkylating agent, non-oxidizing catalyst, intermediate for the synthesis of biologically active compounds, and supporting electrolyte for depositing polypyrrole membranes. Sulfonates are salts or esters of sulfonic acid. Sulfonic salts are soluble in water. Sulfonic acid and its salts present in organic dyes provide useful function of water solubility and or improve the wash fastness of dyes due to their capability of binding more tightly to the fabric. They are widely used in the detergent industry. Alkyl benzene sulfonic acid is the largest-volume synthetic surfactant because of its relatively low cost, good performance, the fact that it can be dried to a stable powder and the biodegradable environmental friendliness. Sulfonate cleaners do not form an insoluble precipitates in hard water. Sulfonic acid salts and esters are intermediates widely used in organic synthesis and particularly phenolic compounds and cation exchange resins. They are synthetic intermediates for a number of biologically active compounds and pharmaceutical candidates such as sulfa drugs. They are used as adhesives and sealant chemicals. Sodium toluene sulfonate was used as a supporting electrolyte for depositing polypyrrole membranes. It was also used as a solute to study the performance of resin particles.

4.      Mazeo 4A

  • Applications and Properties:

Zeolite 4A is a white powder that is used as a builder in manufacturing of detergent powder. It also works as a water softener in detergent powder. Zeolite can produce demineralized water through calcium ion exchange, remove and prevent the deposition of dirt. So it is widely used to replace sodium tripolyphosphate as detergent auxiliary in order to reduce the environmental impact of the detergent. Zeolite 4A is a molecular sieve and it is widely used in the drying, refining and purification of liquids and gases. It can absorb water and other molecules with a critical diameter less than 4 Å such as NH3, H2S, SO2, CO2, C2H5OH, C2H6, and C2H4.
